On January 1, Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism jointly with Vietnam Airlines branch in Nha Trang, Cam Ranh International Airport and Cam Ranh International Terminal Joint Stock Company welcomed the first international visitors in 2023. Present at the event was Le Huu Hoang, Standing Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of local agencies and departments.
The Vietnam Airlines’ VN441 flight carrying 120 from Incheon (S. Korea) landed at Cam Ranh International Airport at 9:50 on January 1, 2023. Le Huu Hoang and other representatives offered greeting flowers and gifts to the first visitors to Khanh Hoa in 2023. There were unicorn dance and a traditional musical show to welcome the tourists.

Khanh Hoa welcomes nearly 50 flights/ week from S. Korea and 6 flights/ week from Kazakhstan to Cam Ranh. The welcome ceremony for the first flights from S. Korea. The welcome event was to promote tourism and revive the international tourism market to Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa; show the local hospitality as well as help boost the relationship between State agencies and aviation service businesses, contributing to Khanh Hoa tourism growth, according to Nguyen Thi Le Thanh, Director of Khanh Hoa Tourism Department.
