AirAsia has just announced the resumption of flights between Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Nha Trang after 2 years of suspension due to Covid-19.
 
Accordingly, AirAsia will resume Kuala Lumpur– Nha Trang service as from July 8 with 2 flights/ week on Monday and Friday. The flight will land at Cam Ranh International Airport at 11:30 and take off at 12:00 on the same day.
 
AirAsia is a Malaysian low-cost airline headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Prior to the Covid-19 pandemic, AirAsia operated domestic and international flights to nearly 165 cities in 25 nations and territories such as Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong (China), India, Taiwan, U.K with nearly 500 flights/ day. In September 2017, AirAsia opened Kuala Lumpur – Nha Trang route with 1 flight/ day, begining a massive increase in global international flights from Europe to Khanh Hoa. The Kuala Lumpur – Nha Trang flight service was halted over coronavirus concerns in 2020. 
 

 

 
AirAsia is the 6th airlines having resumed international travel to Cam Ranh International Airport. Vietjet Air, Air Seoul, Jeju Air and Air Busan have reopened service between Incheon (South Korea) and Cam Ranh; Vietnam Airlines has resumed flights on Singapore-Cam Ranh route. The resumption of AirAsia flights Kuala Lumpur – Nha Trang is expected to contribute to attracting visitors to Malaysia in particular and Southeastern countries in general, according to the leader of Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism.
