Many advantages to welcome international guests

Recently, Vietjet Air has re-operated the route Cam Ranh - Incheon (Korea) with a frequency of 3 flights/week. This is a favorable condition for Khanh Hoa tourism to welcome Korean tourists back after more than 2 years of interruption because of the Covid-19 epidemic. The first flight on May 20 carried 155 Korean tourists to Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa, including a number of tour company representatives to study the tourism recovery of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa to prepare to bring Korean tourists back. Tran Minh Duc - Deputy Director of Long Phu Tourist Joint Stock Company, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Travel Association shared: "We have just welcomed representatives of Korean travel agencies to survey tourism products of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa after the Covid-19 epidemic. Korean partners highly appreciate the local tourism recovery. The two sides have agreed to bring tourists from Korea to Nha Trang from early July.

Vietnam Airlines will reopen the Singapore - Cam Ranh flying route with a frequency of 2 flights/week from June 3rd. This is a favorable condition to attract tourists from Southeast Asia.

Along with efforts to exploit traditional tourist markets such as Russia, Korea..., Khanh Hoa is strengthening connections to exploit the Indian tourist market. In early May, the Provincial People's Committee coordinated with the Embassy of India in Vietnam to organize a conference "Tourism in Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa and India - Safe, friendly and attractive destination". The conference focused on introducing strengths and programs to stimulate tourism in Khanh Hoa for Indian tourists; potentials of direct flights between India  and Cam Ranh; solutions to remove bottlenecks and attract Indian tourists to Khanh Hoa... Indian Ambassador to Vietnam Pranay Verma also assessed Khanh Hoa as one of the localities that India prioritizes for connection and tourism cooperation in the near future. Immediately after the conference, Indian travel agents had an online connection session to explore cooperation opportunities with tourism businesses in Khanh Hoa province. “The leader of Khanh Hoa Province People's Committee has also proposed to Vietnam's airlines to study and open a flying route from India to Khanh Hoa to connect trade and promote tourism development...", Nguyen Thi Le Thanh shared.

Khanh Hoa Province aims to welcome 1.2 million tourists in 2022 (up 100% compared to 2021), including 1.16 million domestic ones and 40,000 international ones; and reach 4,000 billion VND in tourism revenue.
