Orchid and Monkey Islands, Khanh Hoa Province, received approximately 3,500 visitors during the 2 first days of the April 30 and May.1 holiday with 1,500 people on April 30 alone, according to Le Dung Lam, Director of Long Phu Joint Sock Company. The company had expected to welcome 8,000 tourist arrivals during this holiday. However, due to Covid-19 pandemic, some have canceled tours over concerns about the coronavirus risks, so the number of tourists will sink to 7,000.
