Vietjet has cooperated with relevant Vietnamese agencies within the country and overseas to continue bringing Vietnamese citizens home, following the direction of the Vietnamese Government.

The International Vietjet flight brought 240 Vietnamese passengers from the Philippines back home safely on July 18. Vietjet has operated 3 flights in July to bring Vietnamese citizens from Singapore, Taiwan (China), Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh and 4 more flights are expected to bring citizens back home from the Philippines, Russia, Brunei, Indonesia and Myanmar.

The passengers onboard the flight include people under 18, pregnant women, those suffering from illnesses, students unable to remain due to the closure of their accommodation, workers with expired work permits, left stranded and others in difficult situations.

Nearly 10,000 Vietnamese passengers are expected to be brought back home by Vietjet by the end of July, following the country’s immigration and quarantine procedures. Vietjet flights assure the highest public health standards required by the governing agency, the World Health Organization (WHO) and the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
