Tourism in Khanh Hoa Province has started to resume in wake of COVID-19. Most of big tourist destinations, namely Vinpearl Land Nha Trang, Hon Tam, Orchid Island, Monkey Island, Yang Bay, etc have reopened to visitors. Khanh Hoa is expected to receive 41,500 tourists arrivals, including 40,000 locals, accounting for 6% compared with the same period last year. Room occupancy is nearly 3,1%. The total tourism revenue is more than VND156 billion.
 
COVID-19 has had significant negative impacts on tourism industry. In the first 6 months, Khanh Hoa has received more than 710,000 tourist arrivals, making up 21% of the same period last year. They include 415,600 international tourists and 295,000 domestic ones, accounting for 24,3% and 17,% respectively compared with the same period last year. The total turnover of tourism is estimated at VND4,751 billion, roughly 23.9% compared with the first half of 2019.
