Nha Trang Bay Management Board has just announced the reopening of Hon Mun Marine Reserve to visitors from May 10 after closure in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and local restrictions. Sightseeing tickets are sold at Nha Trang Tourist Port, Vinh Truong Ward, Nha Trang. 
 
Nha Trang Bay Management Board required travel businesses to ask visitors to comply with the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 control and prevention guidelines and not bring plastic bottles, plastic bags and other single-use plastics to the reserve site.

Hon Mun Marine Reserve was founded in 2001 with the support of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the Global Environmental Facility and Government of Denmark. It is known as the first Vietnam marine reserve rich in biodiversity with 350 species of coral reef, 230 of fish, 112 of mollusks, 112 of crustaceans, 76 of seaweed, etc. Besides sightseeing, many visitors enjoy diving and going on a glass bottom ship to have a view of a majestic world of coral reefs and marine species.
