In March, Khanh Hoa Province received 47,800 tourist arrivals, a year-on-year drop of 90.5%. There were 28,000 overseas visitors, down by 90.4%; and local tourists: 19.800, down by 90.6%, according to a report from Khanh Hoa Department of Tourism.
 
In March, the room occupancy in Khanh Hoa was only 9.3%, specifically 13% in 3-5 star dwelling establishments, 5% in 1 – 2 star ones. 15,000 people or 30% of people working in dwelling establishments lost jobs due to the impact of COVID-19.
