Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association is going to organize the fifth congress, term 2018 – 2013. According to Nguyen Van Thanh – Standing Vice-chairman of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association said:
The congress is scheduled in early 2019 but with the aim to strengthen organization and improve operation, its time has been changed to end August, 2018. Beside the official congress with about 350 attenders, the association will host a gala dinner to honor typical tourism businesses and take famtrip groups to survey and experience typical tourist products of Khanh Hoa Province.

- What were highlights in operation of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association during the past term?
The association has set up a comprehensive organization and upgrade its website. During the past years, the association have represented tourist businesses, especially suggesting ideas for tourism development policies in the province. Every year, the association has coordinated with the provincial Department of Tourism in tourism promotion like calling and organizing businesses to join tourism fairs in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and tourism seminars, welcoming local and international famtrip groups, etc.
- Some people say that the role of Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa Tourism Association may pale in comparion with the local tourism development. What do you think about it?
Actually, the operation of the association during the past time has little innovation. The association also has little influence on tourist business in the province. Some duties entrusted by the provincial leadership like setting up floor prices of hotel rooms, improving quality of 4-island tour, etc. haven’t been done.
The shortcomings have some reason, including the lack in the staff. We will solve this problem in the coming term. We expect to choose deserving people for key position and young, warm-hearted and creative people for new activities. Besides, the association will build annual activity programs closely and sellect suitable activities to attract the participation of members.
