Tien Stream is a very romantic scenic spot located in Suoi Tien Commune, Dien Khanh District, about 19km from Nha Trang City by the national Road I. Originating from Hon Ba Mount, Cam Ranh Town, its current winds with many turns and twists overflowing the rocks around the valley and then runs down into the delta. One branch runs northward into fields and the other flows eastward into the Dau River and then they both merge themselves into Cai River.

In the Fairy Stream, there is Fairy Lake, famous for its limpid and cool water which swirls into a deep and wide bassin beneath a naturtal stone dam. A legend goes that once upon a time, fairies used to come here to enjoy exhilirating baths. From here, going upstream, you will pass a beach full of dark grey stones in various shapes, some under and some above the water level. Trees of all kinds growing in a hustle with the stones offer the stream the pleasant green and shadow. It is also believed that there used to be a fairy chessboard and a fairy cave. The fairy chessboard is a vast and flat rock, half submerged in the water. On its part above the water remain the drawings in Chinese characters, the Dien (field) and Khau (mouth), which become dim over a long time.

Above is the Fairy Cave where stones pile up in forms of small caves and holes surrounded by trees creating full of fragrance and shadow that offer us invitingly restful places. This romantic scenery with the murmuring water and imposing mountains has been a source of inspiration for many poets.
