Winning all three championship titles at the National Team Beach Volleyball Championship 2022 and the National Junior Beach Volleyball Tournament 2022 taking place recently in Phu Quoc City, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa proved their superiority in Vietnam's beach volleyball playground.
Winning all three championship titles at the National Team Beach Volleyball Championship 2022 and the National Junior Beach Volleyball Tournament 2022 taking place recently in Phu Quoc City, Sanvinest Khanh Hoa proved their superiority in Vietnam’s beach volleyball playground.
The National Team Beach Volleyball Championship 2022 ended with a great achievement for Sanvinest Khanh Hoa. They won both men’s and women’s events. Athlete Nguyen Van Nha and athlete Nguyen Le Thi Tuong Vy were also named as the most excellent male and female athletes of the tournament, respectively. The championship was a part of the series of cultural, sports and tourism activities of Kien Giang Province in 2022 and was jointly organized by Kien Giang Provincial Department of Culture and Sports and Vietnam Volleyball Federation.

The championship attracted 16 pairs of male athletes of four units and 24 pairs of female athletes of six units. The athletes competed in group stage and final stage. This year’s championship had a good quality, bringing together almost all of the outstanding athletes from the localities and the members of the national beach volleyball team that played at SEA Games 31.
Sanvinest Khanh Hoa displayed their good skills and proved their strength in both men’s and women’s event. The two pairs of Khanh Hoa, Nguyen Trong Quoc - Nguyen Van Nha and Ton Long Nhat - Tran Quang Vu, overcame the pairs of Ho Chi Minh City 2-0 in men’s team final. Meanwhile, the female athletes of Khanh Hoa namely Vu Ngoc Lan Nguyen, Nguyen Le Tuong Vy, Nguyen Thi Thanh Tam, Nguyen Le Tuyet Ngan beat Can Tho Province’s athletes 2-0 in the final match to claim the championship.
The National Junior Beach Volleyball Tournament 2022 was joined 19 pairs of male and female athletes under 18 and 19 years old of the localities and units with strong volleyball movement in the country. Sanvinest Khanh Hoa only fielded one pair of athletes under 21 to the tournament with the target of helping them to learn experience. However, the performance of the young athletes exceeded the expectation; they overcame strong opponents to bring home the championship.
The players of Sanvinest Khanh Hoa gained five best titles of the National Team Beach Volleyball Championship 2022 and the National Junior Beach Volleyball Tournament 2022. This achievement will be a stepping stone for Khanh Hoa’s volleyball to set the goal of defending the gold medal at the 9th National Sports Festival scheduled for the end of this year.
