Khanh Hoa FC prepare for new season

Khanh Hoa FC recently took part in a tournament in Binh Duong Province and had some friendly matches to prepare for the 2022 National First League or V.League 2.

Khanh Hoa FC have still actively strengthened their force and maintained practice amid COVID-19. Since early December 2021, Khanh Hoa FC have recruited quite many players. Tran Dinh Kha and Le Tan Tai returned to Khanh Hoa after one season playing for Topenland Binh Dinh. Half-back Tran Trong Hieu, former captain of An Giang, also joined Khanh Hoa FC in the 2022 season. Among the new recruits, some players, who are Khanh Hoa people, returned to the province to contribute to their old team and hope to help the team to be promoted to V.League 1.

The complicated development of COVID-19 has caused many problems for Khanh Hoa FC and other teams in travelling and practicing. However,  Khanh Hoa FC have tried to look for quality training sessions in order to help their players to regain form and brace themselves for the new season. Recently, Khanh Hoa FC was invited to participate in Binh Duong Television Cup 2021 in Binh Duong Province from December 17 to 25. This tournament was considered as a preparation tournament before the new season starts. Joining the tournament were Binh Duong, Saigon, Ba Ria Vung Tau, Nam Dinh, and Khanh Hoa FC.
Khanh Hoa FC won Saigon 2-1 thanks to a brace of Le Duy. In the draw with Nam Dinh, two goals of Khanh Hoa FC were scored by the two new faces Thanh Phong and Minh Khai. Finally, Khanh Hoa FC finished third with one win, two draws, and one loss (5 points). After the tournament in Binh Duong, Khanh Hoa FC returned to Nha Trang and played two friendlies with Becamex Binh Duong on December 30, 2021 and January 1, 2022.
 
At the review conference of the national professional football tournaments organized at the end of 2021, Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company (VPF) proposed plans for V.League 1 and V.League 2 which are expected to kick off in early February. Although the 2021 season only included seven rounds, it could be considered as a successful season of Khanh Hoa FC as they placed first in the rankings. Coach Vo Dinh Tan of Khanh Hoa FC said that he has always instructed his team to play at their best in every match towards the target of returning to V.League 1.
