Khanh Hoa Province’s chess and Chinese chess championships 2020 kicked off at Nha Trang City Center of Culture, Information and Sports (8 To Hien Thanh Street, Nha Trang City) on September 17.

The championships are joined by 100 players from Khanh Hoa Provincial Children’s House, Nha Trang City Bureau of Education and Training, Cam Lam District, Khanh Vinh District, Dien Khanh District, Ninh Hoa Town, Nha Trang City, and Cam Ranh City.

40 players compete in the individual and team events of Chinese chess; 60 other players are split into four age groups (under 9, under 11, under 13, 14 years old and over) and compete in female team and individual events of chess.

This is the first province-level sports event of Khanh Hoa after one month of suspension due to COVID-19.
The championships end on September 20.
