The two representatives of Khanh Hoa's futsal, Sanatech Sanest Khanh Hoa (S.S-KH) and Sanna Khanh Hoa (S.KH), finished in second position and eighth position respectively at the national futsal championship 2018.
The two representatives of Khanh Hoa’s futsal, Sanatech Sanest Khanh Hoa (S.S-KH) and Sanna Khanh Hoa (S.KH), finished in second position and eighth position respectively at the national futsal championship 2018. The futsal squads of Khanh Hoa have proved their real strength at the domestic tournaments, although could not achieve the championship as they did three years ago.
S.S-KH was also the runner-up at the 2017 championship. This year’s season, the squad gained 42 points after 18 matches, two points fewer than the winner Thai Son Nam. This was a relatively good result compared to their initial goal of finishing in top three. The results of Khanh Hoa futsal teams at this tournament continued showing the investment efficiency of the province in this sport as well as partly asserting the position of Khanh Hoa’s sports in Vietnam.

In the initial years taking part in the domestic futsal tournaments from 2009 to 2012, Khanh Hoa’s futsal only had one squad which was S.KH. The team of Coach Dang Dinh Khang overcame many difficulties during that period to compete with the strong teams which were well invested of other localities. Gradually, S.KH started to get encouraging results. Since 2012 to 2017, the team always reached the top three strongest teams of the rankings. The most excellent achievement of S.KH was the championship title in 2015.
Since being established in 2013, S.S-KH has added quite good results to the achievements of Khanh Hoa’s futsal. Since 2013 until now, this team had four times winning second place and two times taking third place.
With the achievements of S.KH and S.S-KH at the national futsal championships, it can be said that Khanh Hoa’s teams have been the tough opponents for the current best fusal team in Vietnam, Thai Son Nam.
