Vietnam U-23 loses semi-final to South Korea U-23

Vietnam U-23 could not overcome strong South Korea U-23 in the semi-final of ASIAD 2018 on August 29.
Lee Seung Woo scored an early opener for South Korea U-23 just after seven minutes. South Korea U-23 had second goal thanks to Hwang Ui Jo in the 28th minute and third goal in the 56th scored by Lee Seung Woo.

Vietnam was awarded a free kick in the 71st minute, and Minh Vuong made a stunning strike beating South Korean goalkeeper.
The match ended 3-1 for South Korea. Vietnam will compete for third place against the United Arab Emirates who was defeated 0-1 by Japan in the another semi-final match.
