Reportedly, at the meeting with Tran Quoc Tuan, Permanent Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Football Federation at the 27th AFC Congress in Bahrain, Chung Monggyu, President of Korea Football Association, asserted his interest in Vietnam’s football and undertook to enhance the relation between the two countries in football through practical activities.
Reportedly, Korea Football Association will provide a comprehensive support for Vietnam U-22 during their training in Korea and arrange friendly matches between Vietnam team and Korean teams.
Earlier, the Korean Football Association also actively supported Vietnam U-20 national team in preparing for FIFA U-20 World Cup.
As planned, Coach Nguyen Huu Thang and Vietnam U-22 will go into training in Korea from July 30 to August 11. Afterwards, the whole team will go to Malaysia to take part in SEA Games 2017.
