The International Four Heroes Tournament 2017 kicked off at 19-8 Stadium, Nha Trang City on May 12. The tournament was organized to establish and enhance the relations between Vietnam’s tourism enterprises and international ones. This is also an opportunity for the participants to promote their potentials and strengths in tourism.

The tournament was jointly organized by Khanh Hoa Provincial Department of Culture and Sports and Thanh Thanh Travel. The tournament was joined by four teams, including A-T Nha Trang, S-A Saigon, Thailand Port and Cambodia.
“All of the participating enterprises operate in the tourism industry. The tournament is held in rotation by Vietnam, Thailand and Cambodia. Each tournament is an interesting playground for the teams and also an opportunity for them to discover and learn about the tourism of the hosting place. To the tourism enterprises, the tournament is very helpful, helping them to design attractive packages to serve tourists,” said Tran Phuc Thao, Deputy Director of Thanh Thanh Travel, deputy head of tournament’s organization committee.
At the tournament held in Nha Trang, each team is allowed to register 20 players. All expenses are funded by the sponsors. The teams will spend nearly five days to exchange with each other and take part in the tournament. The team will compete in a round robin format and decide the winner based on the points. Each team is consented to have nine substitutes in stead of three as in the professional tournaments.
As planned, the participating teams discover some tourist sites in Nha Trang Bay. Specifically, the teams visit Hon Mun where they can enjoy swimming and diving; go to Hon Mot to learn about fishing village, process of fishing and aquaculture, and experience water activities like canoeing, jet ski, and parasailing.
The teams will also visit other famous tourist sites in Nha Trang, such as Vinpearl Land, Ponagar Temple, Chong Rock, Aquarius Aquarium Institute, Long Son Pagoda, mineral and mud bath.
Reportedly, the tournament in Nha Trang is sponsored by Anex Tour Vietnam, Aroma House, and Thanh Thanh Travel.
