Sponsored VND80 – 100 million from social organizations and businesses, Nha Trang Culture – Sports Center is considered to be successful in socializing sport activities in Khanh Hoa Province.
During the past years, with an aim to develop sports activities in people in the whole city, Nha Trang Culture – Sports Center has coordinated with many organizations such as the provincial Department of Education and Training, the Labor Federation, The Youth Union and Women’s Association to hold sports tournaments and maneuvers, attracting thousands of participants.
Specifically, the center annually receives more than 90,000 frequent practicers, making up 25% of the city’s population.

Additionally, the center often opens sports classes for the youth such as table tennis, football, badminton, chess and martial arts to create useful playground for them and then discover new talents for large-scale sports events. So far this year, the center has host 42 tournaments and maneuvers at city level for more than 6,000 competitors at all ages. Especially, 10 were funded by socialization. The sponsorship partly solved cost problem of sport event organization and help the city’ sports movement improve more, according to Nguyen Tuan Thanh, manager of the center.
Furthermore, social organizations as well as enterprises have contributed tens of billion VND to build up works for sport in the city. On an average, around VND100 million is supported for sports activities at commune/ward level every year and the figure for the city level is between VND80 million – VND120 million.
The investment also has enhanced the tournaments’ quality. Accordingly, competitors’ profession, prizes’ value as well as the number of participants have been raised considerably.
