The final presentation show of the Miss Universe 2008 Pageant took place at the Crown Convention Center at Diamond Bay Resort, Phuoc Dong, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa on July 8.
The Crown Convention Centre 2008 is equipped with an up-to-date audio and lightning system decorated with Vietnamese traditional images of a girl with a conic hat and a bronze drum. The judges for the final presentation show included Nguyen Cong Khe, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper, fashion expert Thuy Tran, Miss Universe 2008 crown designer Rosalina Tran Lydster, NBC's vice chairman Dean McFliker, PR aficionado Dave Tomberlin, hair artist Adel Chabbi and designer Fred Howard.
On the night, the contestants had to try their best to show off their beauty and charm to enter the top 15 candidates, who will not be announced until the night of the main event on July 14. The top 10 finalists will be selected to compete in evening gown and swimsuit. The final five then will enter an interview round to decide the runners-up and winner.
