The 2-disc collection that is about the military and political strategies from the first moments of the Vietnam War through the eventual U.S. withdrawal and beyond lasts over five hours of content.

The history channel has presented its very first Vietnam War DVD set along with a host of reports comparing the current situation in Iraq to the Vietnam War.

The documentary profiles the decision makers and chronicling key events, from the advisors’ arrival in 1959 to the airlift from the roof of the American Embassy in 1975.

The DVD also contains archival footage and interviews with historians and veterans revealing the military and political strategies, and rare footage from the CBS News. It also takes opinions of those who witnessed the daily life during the war.
