They are Nguyen Thi Hoang Nhung, a Tay ethnic girl from northern Thai Nguyen province, who crowned Miss Ethnicity Vietnam 2007. The first runner up was Truong Thi May, a Khmer ethnic girl from the southern province of An Giang. The second runner up was E De ethnic girl H'Ro Ni Buon Ya from the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak.
The final round of the contest of Miss Ethnicity Vietnam 2007, held for the first time in Vietnam, has put the flower festival 2007 to an end. 47 candidates representative of 24 peoples showed off their beauty and brains at the final round.
The contest not only honoured the beauty of form but also the beauty of mind. This is also what the flower festival 2007 means.
47 pretty women took part in several sub – contests and cultural activities held on December 13 – 21 including mountain climbing, jogging, talent contests and a oral contest.
Prizes awarded in this contest were not out of prediction of journalist circle and those who kept track of the event from the beginning days.

Other sub prizes including Miss Friendly, Miss Mountainous region, Miss Tourism, Miss Talent were respectively awarded to Lam Bao Tran, a Hoa ethnic girl, Kra Jan Jut Jui from K’ho ethnic group, Tran Kim Hoa, a girl from Kinh peoples and Hoang Thu Thao from Nung ethnic group.
Ten others won prizes which are named after different varieties of flowers, such as lotus, peach, mimosa, rose, orchid, sunflower, apricot, carnation, daisy and wild sunflower.
