Fashion TV and the HCM City-based Saigontourist Travel Service have jointly launched a programme to promote Vietnamese tourism with a number of activities under the theme “Cruise Vietnam”.
Accordingly, a new year party will be organised on board of F-Diamond, FTV’s five-star cruise ship on the eve of January 1, 2008 in HCM City. The ship will arrive in the city on December 30.
A fashion show will be held with the performance of 50 models, including 40 FTV prize winners and 10 Vietnamese. About 1,500 foreign and Vietnamese tourists are expected to attend the event. The program is scheduled to last overnight. It will be broadcast on FTV channel on January 1.
As planned, F-Diamond cruise ship will come back to Saigon port by the end of February and then dock in central Nha Trang and Da Nang and Ha Long Cities. FTV will officially shoot beautiful scenes of the country to launch worldwide.
Fashion TV is the second largest cable channel in the world with 15 satellites, serving 400 million of households in the world. Everyday, it sees about 1.4 billion of turns of viewers. At present, this channel is linked with 3 Vietnamese channels. As a result, 900,000 Vietnameses can view this channel.
