Only one out of 8 Vietnamese competitors has been given a certificate at the 39th World Skills Competition (WSC) just held in Japan.
Viet Nam News Agency correspondent reported that after 4 days of competition, the 39th World Skills Competition (WSC) just held in Shizuoka city, Japan has come to an end on November 21.
Vietnamese competitor Tran Hoang Ro from the HCM City-based University of Industry has been received a certificate in the installation of civil electrical systems.
With the award, the Vietnamese delegation ranked 25th among 49 participating countries. Japanese delegation, the host, took first place with 12 gold medals.
The 39th World Skills Competition (WSC) held on November 14 - 21 with the theme of “International Skills Festival for All”, drew more than 830 competitors from 49 countries competing in 39 categories.
The Vietnamese delegation consisting of 8 competitors competed in eight categories, including restaurant services, cooking, electrical system installations, industrial electronics, graphic design technology, carpentry, information technology and bricklaying.
