Korea Times issued on October 5 ran an article about a Vietnamese writer - Nguyen Ngoc Tu and her well known literature work, "Canh Dong Bat Tan” (endless field).

Korea Times wrote: “To become a best-selling writer at the age of 31 is a feat many authors would envy. Vietnamese writer Nguyen Ngoc Tu, 31, who has taken readers by storm, not only sold some 80,000 copies of her latest novel, but she also introduced the ``bestseller'' concept in her country…”

The article also summarized the content of the novel and revealed the stir and debate around the release of the novel.

The novel, ``The Endless Fields,'' which received Vietnam's most prestigious literary prize, the Vietnam Writers' Association award for fiction in 2006 has been translated by Ha Jae-hong and published in Korea by Asia Publishers.
On this occasion, Nguyen Ngoc Tu paid a 14 - day visit to Korea for the first time together with Vietnam's veteran poets Chim Trang and Thu Nguyet, and artist Tran Luan Tin, who drew the illustrations for the book.

While Poet Thu Nguyet wrote on her blog funny stories the two “hick” authors had when they were in Korea, writer - blogger Nguyen Ngoc Tu also had some deep words on her blog: is there anything outside my soul?/ outside my country? Is there anything outside my country? If I want to know it, I have to travel.

We hope that what this author has after the trip to Korea will be new materials for her future exceptional works.
