Khanh Hoa Job Center has boosted the information technology application, allowing employers and job seekers to connect, share resumes and advertise available positions, helping reduce cost and time as well as prevent mass gatherings amid the Covid-19 outbreak.
Providing link between employers and job-seekers
The job fair recently held by Khanh Hoa Job Center in Ninh Hoa Town has attracted hundreds of job-seekers and helped them get connected online with employers via Zoom Cloud Meetings. After receiving information about job vacancies and requirements, Nguyen Phuc Thanh Trien, Ninh Thuong Commune, Ninh Hoa Town decided to apply for a job at Hai Vuong Company, Suoi Dau Industrial Zone, Cam Lam District. “This is the first time I have joined the job fair and got connected online with recruiters. This is a good way to create opportunity for employers and job-seekers to meet and exchange information related to the job demand. This helps reduce mass gathering during the on-going pandemic,” she said.

At the job fairs held every Tuesday and Thursday, job-seekers are also connected with employers online via the digital job-seeking platform. According to a representative of Hai Vuong Company, Ltd., to meet the labor demand for production, the company regularly connects with potential job-seekers through Khanh Hoa Job Center. The information technology application in providing link between employers and job-seekers has helped save cost, labor and time. Hopefully, the center will boost online connection with job-seekers inside and outside the province to help further meet the business and production demands.
Saving time, cost and improving safety against Covid-19
Chu Van Cong, Director of the Provincial Job Center said since the 4th wave of the Covid-19 pandemic (July 2021), in order to improve safety against Covid-19 pandemic while promptly helping connect job seekers to suitable job opportunities, the center has applied Zoom Cloud Meetings at Zoom Cloud Meetings ID: 984-5711-7678, password 003934. Most job fairs have been organized, applying information technology to help job-seekers meet employers. The center also updates recruitment needs and lists of job seekers on the website: thongtinvieclamkhanhhoa.vn, Zalo and Fanpage. Therefore, now, instead of attending job fairs, employers and job-seekers can meet each other online via Zoom Cloud Meetings and job search websites.
In addition, the provincial Job Center is developing a labor market data software to facilitate career counseling and job recommendations, linking job seekers and employers. The center has simultaneously, digitalized the implementation of the unemployment insurance policy; processed applications for unemployment insurance benefits through the national online public service; and applied digital signatures together with delivery service in order to save time and cost.
“In the coming time, the center will strengthen the application of information technology in assigned tasks. In particular, we will connect with provinces and cities through the apps to attract more labor from outside the province to meet the demand for human resources, especially skilled technical workers,” added Chu Van Cong.
