On March 3, Nguyen Tan Tuan, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed ambassadors of 4 Nordic countries, namely Kim Højlund Christensen, Ambassador of Denmark; Grete Løchen, Ambassador of Norway; Ann Måwe, Ambassador of Sweden; and Keijo Norvanto, Ambassador of Finland.
At the meeting, Nguyen Tan Tuan thanked the Nordic countries for their support to Vietnam in general and Khanh Hoa in particular in the national defense, construction and development. The provincial leader also introduced the province’s socio-econ9mic investment; investment sectors and projects; and expressed the hope that the ambassadors would introduce businesses and investors in Nordic countries to invest and cooperate with Khanh Hoa in sectors of great potentials and strengths in Khanh Hoa.
With the message of greener and more sustainable recovery, the ambassadors of the 4 Nordic countries wished that in the cooperation plan with Khanh Hoa, priority should be given to research in marine aquaculture applying advanced technology. ; environmental protection; waste treatment; offshore wind power; mining, building materials; protection of employees’ rights and responsibilities after the Covid-19; gender equality, etc.
Reportedly, that during the working trip to Khanh Hoa province, the delegation of 4 Nordic countries visited Nha Trang University; the aquaculture project of Australis Vietnam Seafood Co., Ltd on Van Phong Bay; and the Ponagar Temples in Nha Trang.
