Saigon Nha Trang General Hospital offered 270 gifts to disadvantaged families in the 3 communes of Vinh Hiep, Vinh Phuong and Vinh Thanh in Nha Trang City on January 8. The charity work worth more than VND27 million in total was an effort to give food to the poor for the upcoming Lunar New Year.
Charity activities have been implemented by Saigon Nha Trang General Hospital for many years. Particularly in 2021, the hospital gave New Year gifts to the needy in Khanh Vinh; free medical check-ups and treatment; seasonal flu vaccination for the elderly and people from disadvantaged backgrounds, benefiting nearly 20,000 people, joining the provincial effort in Covid-19 prevention and control. The hospital provided human resource support for the province during SARS-CoV-2 antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing and vaccination as well as donated blood for emergency care and treatment at medical facilities.
