88 new cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 were recorded in Khanh Hoa Province from 4pm on July 15 to 7am today (July 16), according to Khanh Hoa Center for Disease Control.
This is the highest-ever new cases of SARS-CoV-2 in the province. The new cases include 85 in in Ninh Hoa Town, 2 in Nha Trang City, and 1 in Cam Ranh. Up to 44 cases are in the community and the rest in locked-down and quarantine areas.
485 cases positive for SARS-CoV-2 have been reported in Khanh Hoa since June 23. Infections have been detected in 6/9 districts and towns, including Ninh Hoa Town with the most cases (325), followed by Nha Trang City (131), Van Ninh District (12), Cam Lam District (11), Dien Khanh District (3) and Cam Ranh City (3).

3,384 F1 and 8,918 F2 have been traced. 81,903 samples have been taken for RT-PCR testing and 43,380 others for antigen-detecting rapid diagnostic testing in Khanh Hoa Province. 98 areas related to the positive cases have been temporarily blockaded.
