Provincial Party Committee Secretary visits Khanh Hoa Newspaper

Nguyen Hai Ninh, Central Party Committee Member, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee paid a visit to Khanh Hoa Newspaper on June 21 on the 96th Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21,1925 - 2021).

 

At the meeting, Khanh Hoa Newspaper leaders reported activities and development strategies of the newspaper. Khanh Hoa Newspaper has focused on reporting the 18th Khanh Hoa Provincial Communist Party Congress, 13th National Communist Party Congress and the elections of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels. In 2020 and the first 6 months of 2021, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has distributed reports on important political and socio-economic events and national and provincial holidays. Especially, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has fulfilled its role as an official news agency of the province to be the voice of the Party Committee, Government and people in Khanh Hoa Province, orientating public opinions, providing the link between the Party Committee, Government and residents.

 

 

 

 

 

The Provincial Secretary appreciated Khanh Hoa Newspaper’ contribution to the provincial socio-economic development and suggested that in the coming time Khanh Hoa Newspaper should continue well propagandizing the strategies set by the Provincial Party Committee as well as provincial socio-economics development, following the Resolution of 18th Khanh Hoa Provincial Communist Party Congress, targeting to develop Khanh Hoa into a big center of marine economics, tourism and service by 2025;  boosting  propagating the province’ focus on planning, investment appeal in boosting Van Phong economic zone, the development of human resources, etc.

 

In 2020, Khanh Hoa Newspaper had nearly 302 issues with a circulation of about 1,720,000 copies; and 7,400 copies of New Year magazine and a special issue marking the 90th anniversary of Vietnam Communist Party’s foundation; received more than 5,700 pieces of news from readers inside and outside the province.

 

Besides Khanh Hoa print newspaper, Khanh Hoa online news has helped bring news to readers fast and conveniently. Khanh Hoa online news has more than 40 columns, gaining 2 million views/ month with the ranking having remained high for a long time. 

 

Apart from main professional tasks, Khanh Hoa Newspaper has also joined many charity activities, seeking donations worth nearly VND1 billion to help flood-hit residents in the central area and hundred millions of Vietnam dongs to help those suffering from severe diseases and financial hardship.
