The Ministry of Public Security has just issued Circular 06/2021/TT-BCA stimulating the form of citizen’s identity cards.
Accordingly, the front of the chip-based ID cards has the national emblem; citizen’s photo, date if expiry, the words "The Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Independence – Freedom –Happiness"; "Citizen Identity Card", chip QR code, citizen’s full name, date of birth, sex, nationality, place of origin and place of residence.
