The Naval Headquarters, region 4 in association with Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee held a see-off ceremony on January 10 for the mission on their New Year visit to soldiers and residents on Spratly Islands. Present at the event was Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee.
The mission took 4 ships (Truong Sa 561, Truong Sa 571, KN 490, KN 491) carrying cadres, soldiers and some journalists together with New Year gifts and necessities for soldiers and residents on Spratly Islands.

Speaking at the ceremony, Nguyen Tan Tuan thanked the Ministry of Defense, the People's Navy; and the Naval Headquarters of the Region 4 for the special concern for soldiers and residents on Spratly Islands and wished the soldiers and residents a happy new year.
