Flooding and landslide warning from prolonged heavy rain

Heavy rain has recenly lashed Khanh Hoa, resulting in high risks of landslide and flooding. Continued rain is expected in the province in the next days.
 
Specifically, Tropical Storm Saudel is forecast to be 680km east east-south from the Spraly Islands with max wind at level 8 and gust expected at level 10. The storm will head east and will be 440km east from the Spratly Islands at 7am on October 22 with max wind at level 9 or 10 and gust expected at level 12, according to Southern & Central Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.

Khanh Hoa Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search & Rescue has sent urgent telegrams on flood response preparedness to the Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search & Rescue of districts and towns, provincial Military Headquarters, Border Defense Force Headquarters; Public Security; local departments and agencies.
