Besides the State's monthly allowance, her family is provided rice, money, day of service and gifts by the town Women's Union regularly. She is very grateful to the Union and hope the support would be expanded to help others in similar difficult circumstances.

“I have received much concern together with material and spiritual support from the Union. I have just had a traffic accident and union members have visited me and helped me a lot,” said Cao Thi Son in Co Rua Village, Son Lam Commune.

The emulation campaign has helped raise members’ awareness of environmental protection throughout the district. Households registering for waste collection service have increased. Environmental clean-up activities in the community have also maintained. Particularly, the campaign has aroused the spirit of solidarity among Union cadres, members and women in a joint effort to help children and women in need. In addition, the union has strengthened activities to improve members’ knowledge of family life, production efficiency, etc.

In the coming time, the district Women's Union will continue launching the campaign with every cadre or member required to take at least one practical action such as no use of banned substances in production and husbandry; safe use of plant protection drugs; no use of dirty food; environmental sanitation; land donation to roads; contribution to new rural construction; charitable and humanitarian work to help women and children in need. Besides, the union hopes the province would develop programs and projects to support Khanh Son women to improve their lives, according to Chairwoman of the district Women's Union Mau Thi Le Thu.
