Nha Trang Youth Union held a program on mangrove cultivation in Vinh Nguyen Ward, Nha Trang City on June 20.
Accordingly, Youth Union members and young people from Youth Union affiliations in Nha Trang City cultivated 20,000 mangroves covering nearly 2ha in order to restore, protect and develop mangrove forests; protect coastal areas and promote bio-diversity.
The event aimed to raise pubic awareness of values of mangroves and protection of mangrove forests and coastal areas.
