Dien Khanh District, Khanh Hoa Province completed the evacuation of 154 homes with 611 members in the 2 communes of Suoi Tien and Dien Tan to safe places by 8pm today (November 10). The evacuation plan for nearly 1,000 others has also been made in case of severe weather.
Earlier, the district had checked storm response tasks and prepared sufficient equipment for rescue in flooding-prone areas, namely Dien Binh, Suoi Hiep, Dien An, Dien Thanh, Dien Lac. Storm preparedness schemes are assured for communities in landslide-risk communes, including Dien Tho, Dien An, Dien Toan and Suoi Hiep.
