Pacific Partnership 2017 (PP17) departed from Cam Ranh International Port on May 29 after completing 10-day PP17 program in Khanh Hoa Province.
During the PP17 event, PP17 and Vietnam held many workshops on professional support, humane aid; disaster relief, coastal medicine for coast guards in Nha Trang City and many social programs such as roof repair at 2 nursery schools in Khanh Hoa Province; musical and cultural exchange, etc.
The mission also worked with Khanh Hoa General Hospital to give screening examination, have professional discussion to increase capacity in medical treatment, disaster response and community support.
This is the 8th time PP has taken place in Vietnam within 12 years of PP development, contributing to promoting the cooperation in humane aid and disaster relief; and strengthening the relationship between Vietnam and the U.S.A as well as friendly cooperation relationships with other countries joining the PP.
