Over the past years, Khanh Hoa Association for Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims has frequently improved its operation, contributing greatly to community connection and Agent Orange relief.

Khanh Hoa Association for Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims at all levels has held many activities to seek for donations to its charity fund.

Since 2010, over VND6.1 billion has been raised for the unfortunate. 19,500 gifts, grants for the construction of 29 houses and emergency aid for 264 cases worth over VND5.3 billion have been given.

Ha Thi Thanh, Dien Dien Commune, Dien Khanh District, an Agent Orange victim whose children are also effected with congenital deformities, says, “Our family has received much  support and encouragement from our relatives and neighbors.

Especially, I am very grateful to the VND30 million aid for our house construction from the provincial association, helping us to overcome difficulties in life.”

Besides, work opportunities have been offered to the disadvantaged. In addition, the association has mobilized many businesses and physicians to provide free medical examination for Agent Orange victims on holidays.

The programs have helped to make it easier for the unfortunate as well as facilitate their integration into the community.

Cao Ho Son, Son Lam Commune, Khanh Son District, says, “I and my 5 children are given free medical examination every year. Besides, much support was given to help my family out of a terrible situation when our house was destroyed in a fire due to our carelessness last year.”

There have been much concern from local authorities and donations from individuals, organizations and businesses, including Khanh Viet Corporation, Khanh Hoa Salanganes Nest Company, Khanh Hoa Lottery Company, Tam Huong Company, etc. in an effort to compensate victims of Agent Orange for their great suffering and loss, according to Tran Quang Tuyen, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Association for Agent Orange/Dioxin victims.
