On September 22, the commune medical stations of Vinh Thanh (Nha Trang City), Khanh Hiep, Khanh Binh, Khanh Dong, Khanh Trung and Khanh Nam (Khanh Vinh District) launched the 2014-2015 open vaccination campaign against measles and rubella for children aged between 1 and 14.

Over 550 kids were vaccinated on the first day. The campaign is scheduled to take place in Khanh Hoa Province on September 22, 2014 to February 2015 with the first phase in September and October for children aged 1-5; the second one in November and December for those aged 6-10; and the third one in January February for those aged 11-14.
260,000 kids in Khanh Hoa Province are expected to be immunized against measles and rubella in this campaign.
