The Nha Trang Bay management board in association with 10 dive clubs in Nha Trang City joined a clean-up day on September 19 to protect Hon Mun seabed and its surrounding environment. The activity responded to the 2014 “Clean Up the World” campaign.

Nha Trang Bay is known as the first Vietnam marine reserve rich in biodiversity with 350 species of coral reef, 222 of fish, 120 of mollusks, 70 of crustaceans, etc. Hon Mun is the core zone which is stringently protected.
