The People’s Committee of Khanh Hoa Province has just ratified detail designs for building Nam Viet International Vocational Training College (NIVC), which promises to become a vocational training center for the province as well as the region.

Nam Viet International Vocational Training College, will be located in Phuoc Thuong Hamlet, Phuoc Dong Commune, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province and designed for 2500 students. The school, covering an area of 7ha, will include theory classes, headquarters and conference room, indoor and outdoor sporting halls, tenement houses for teachers, dormitory for students, refectory and practice workshops. The sectors for studying, administration and service are designed from 1 to 3 floors while the sectors of tenement houses and dormitory are from 2 to 5 floors. The landscape of the school will be natural and harmonious with the construction.

The main functions of Nam Viet International Vocational Training College is vocational training at intermediate and college levels in some fields such as hotel – tourism, electricity, electronics, informatics, mechanics, English, occupational health & safety and techniques for industrial sewing, meeting the demand of man-power resources for the o­ngoing national industrialization and modernization achievements. Its trainees promise to have high quality, professional conscience, discipline, health, healthy and active lifestyle, knowledge, and qualification in compliance with their level, in order to provide skilled labours for enterprises, industrial zones as well as export processing zones.

The college will work directly under the management and guidance of Viet Khanh Joint Stock Company, under the control of the General Department for Vocational Training  of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids & Social Welfare, Khanh Hoa People’s Committee and Khanh Hoa Department of Labor, War, Invalids and Social Welfare.
