Khanh Hoa province reached an export turnover of 73.2 million USD in the first two months of 2007, an increase of 12.8 per cent over the same period last year.
The province’s commodities, mainly seafood, coffee, garments, agricultural products, handicrafts and wooden furniture, were exported to 46 countries all over the world, including Asia with a turnover of 42.2 million USD, Europe with 16.2 million USD, America with 12.8 million USD and Australia with 1.7 million USD. Meanwhile, the province’s import turnover also increased by 2 per cent to 35.4 million USD. Khanh Hoa imports fertilizer, raw materials, equipment, machines, consumer products…
In the two months, the total of sale and service turnover estimated at over 3.100 billion VND, increasing by 23 per cent compared to the same period last year.
