On September 5th , VIB Bank opened its 23rd branch at 50 Le Thanh Phuong Street. VIB Bank’s Branch in Nha Trang operates in term of savings, loan, payment, pledge… and other banking services.
Mr. Trinh Van Tuan, Chairman of managing board said that after nearly 9 years of operating, VIB has always been considered as one of the best joint – stock commercial bank working in Viet Nam. In August, VIB bank increased authorized capital from 325 billion VND to 400 billion VND, increasing eightfold compared to the initial capital. As estimated, it will amount to 500 billion VND at the end of 2005. Khanh Hoa Province is a potential market for VIB bank to expand its activities, improve the business and competition capacity.
From September 5th 2005, VIB Bank will increase interest rate in saving as followed:
+ 3- month period: 0.68% per month.
+ 6- month period: 0.70% per month.
+ 9- month period: 0.72% per month.
+ 12- month period: 0.74% per month.
+ 24- month period: 0.76% per month.
