It is very happy for parents to meet and see off their children to go to school. However, it takes lots of time. It is inconvenient for those who are busy and have no time. Getting to know the demand of parents, this year, Mai Linh joint stock Company in Nha Trang has deployed the “Service to meet and see off pupils by taxi” in Nha Trang City.
The objects of this service are elementary and high school pupils. Mai Linh Company will use automobile of “Daihatsu” to meet and see off pupils; about 10 pupils/taxi. Their parents will buy taxi tickets issued by Mai Linh Company for a month. Printed on each ticket is the face value of 2,000 VND for the routine under 3 km, equivalent to 80,000 VND/month and the face value of 2,500 VND for the routine under 5 km, equivalent to 100,000 VND/month. A taxi pass is valid for a journey. Those who are on the same route are expected to travel together.
At present, there have been nearly 100 customers registered for this service. The Company has deployed 10 journeys, focusing on pupils of schools of Phuoc Tien, Loc Tho, Phuong Sai, Tan Lap 1, Xuong Huan 1. Mr. Dao Thanh Tuan, vice director of Mai Linh Company made known: with the experience we had in many regions all over the country, our Company has had programs to train taxi drivers to serve pupils, especially to make them realize that the objects they are serving are children, so, in addition to professionalism, they should have love, responsibility and consideration towards children. Our Company has arranged a fixed driver for each taxi so that his face becomes familiar to children. Everyday, at a fixed time, these drivers will come and take them to school and take them home at school closing time. Our Company guarantees safety and punctuality. Also according to Mr. Tuan, parents of children in Binh Tan, Vinh Thai, Vinh Trung also have demand for this service. However we can not satisfy them now.
