“Grilled chicken 99” shop at 65A Quang Trung St., Nha Trang City is the first fast food shop in Nha Trang City with modern service. The main menu is chicken served in portions. Each portion includes grilled chicken or bread with chicken, fried chips, coke... It is usually rapidly served in cartons or plastic bags.
The chicken served at the shop bears the 99 Poultry trademark of the UNITEK Corporation. Chicken 99 is processed under the modem technology line by the French Bayle Industries. This is considered the South Eastern region’s top poultry slaughter line first installed in LOTECO Industrial Park in the southern province of Dong Nai. The chicken products meet Australian style seasoning, not too spicy or salty.
Mr. Nguyen Tan Phuoc, an overseas Vietnamese in Australia, said, “This is my third shop in Vietnam and the other two are at the Fairy Stream (Ho Chi Minh City) and in Da Lat City. A 15,000-28,000VND/ portion can provide sufficient nutrition for children after class.” According to him, Nha Trang is a market of great potential and he plans to open a fresh chicken shop 99 and open more fast food shops like grilled chicken 99 in Nha Trang City to serve tourists.
