8,500 runners took part in the race. The marathon of 42km started at 3am, followed by the categories of 21km, 10km, and 5km. The running ended at 10am.

At the end of the race, the organization committee offered 132 prizes to the runners with excellent results, including 72 prizes of 42km-marathon, 48 prizes of 21km-category, 6 prizes of 10km-distance, and 6 prizes of 5km-distance.
Especially, the organization committee gave a prize to runner Trang Thi Ngoc Lan, who broke the VnExpress Marathon record in 42-km marathon, age group of 60 and above.
