Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union in association with Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs’ Association recently organized the program "Winter Volunteering" offering disaster relief to flood-affected people in Quang Ngai and Quang Nam provinces.
Within the framework of the program, the leaderships of the youth union and the association visited, encouraged and presented gifts to local people in the communes of Tinh Binh, Tinh Tra, and Son Bua (Son Tinh District, Quang Ngai Province); Phuoc Gia and Hiep Thuan (Hiep Duc District, Quang Nam Province). In each province, the units gave 200 gifts to households who have been severely affected in the recent floods; each gift included VND1 million in cash and basic necessities such as rice, noodles, milk, and clothes. The total value of the relief was VND800 million contributed by the youth unions, associations, organizations, Khanh Hoa Young Entrepreneurs’ Association, and people throughout Khanh Hoa Province.
