Over 200 locals and tourists making "Tét" cake at Champa Island Nha Trang

Champa Island Nha Trang on the afternoon of January 20 (lunar January 26) organized an interesting activity for the locals and tourists on the occasion of 2020 Lunar New Year. More than 200 locals, tourists, and invited guests in Nha Trang made “Tét” cakes, one of the staples during Tet holiday in Vietnam.

The organizers prepared 90kgs of glutinous rice, pork and peeled mung beans for the participants to make “Tét” cakes. After wrapping all ingredients in banana leaves, the participants attached their name tag on their cake. The cakes were cooked and were given to the participants based on the name tags on the morning of January 21.

Besides making “Tét” cake activity, Champa Island Nha Trang also holds some folk games and an exhibition of traditional handicrafts on Lunar New Year holiday 2020.
