Lighting candles to commemorate revolutionary martyrs

On the occasion of the 69th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day, Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union organized a ceremony to commemorate the revolutionary martyrs at Ninh Hoa – Van Ninh Martyr Cemetery on July 26. Attending the ceremony were Nguyen Tan Tuan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Council; representatives of provincial People’s Council, provincial People’s Committee, provincial Fatherland Front Committee, departments, industries and armed forces.
At the ceremony, the representatives and more than 900 Youth Union members and young people burned incense, laid wreath at the monument to the martyrs; lit candles, laid wreath and offered incense at the martyrs’ grave.
On this occasion, the organization board presented gifts, sponsored by Youth Union branch of Khanh Hoa Lottery Company, to four Vietnamese heroic mothers, worth VND1 million each; 20 gifts to the children of policy households and revolutionary contributors.
