We visited a green skin pomelo garden of over 1 ha of Do Van Kha's family (Khanh Hiep commune, Khanh Vinh district). In the garden, many pomelo trees full of succulent fruits are ready for sale during the lunar new year 2021. Kha excitedly said, with 50 fruit-bearing trees, his family harvested 2 tons of pomelos this Tet, earning about 70 million dong. Previously, on his family's 1.2 ha of land, he grew manioc, corn, sesame, and Australian mangoes but the efficiency was not high. 7 years ago, his family switched to growing green-skin grapefruit. Seeing that the green-skin grapefruits giving good income, his family borrowed 20 million VND from the Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) to grow more. A few years later, his family continued to borrow 50 million VND to invest in their grapefruit garden. Up to now, the whole  garden has 350 trees, 50 of which are giving fruit. Kha said that green-skin grapefruits harvested all year round, not just on Tet holiday, so their income is stable. With the average selling price of 30 - 35,000 VND/kg at the garden, or at least 27-28,000 VND/kg, on average, each 5-year-old grapefruit tree gives an income of 6-7 million VND / year, at least 4 million/year.

Nguyen Van Minh (Xuan Vinh village, Van Hung commune, Van Ninh district) is  a borrower of the VBSP for breeding. Recently, he borrowed 100 million VND from VBSP to release more shrimps. Currently, he is raising 6,000 lobsters. Currently, the price of lobsters is very high, ranging from 1.2 to 1.3 million VND / kg. Minh shared, now his family life is fine and his hopes are placed on two batches of shrimp being raised.

This year, Thanh's family (Nha Trang city) welcomed Tet in a new home. It is a social house with an area of more than 66 square meters in the project of VCN Phuoc Long II Urban Area. The house is worth nearly 900 million dong, 20% of which are from their saving and the rest has been lent by the VBSP. Thanh shared, “At the end of December 2020, the investor handed over the house. After many years of renting house, my family has a place to settle. It is thanks to the preferential loans from VBSP. It is also the common joy of hundreds of families to get loans from the provincial VBSP. As of December 31, 2020, outstanding loans for social housing under Decree 100 at VBSP of Khanh Hoa province reached nearly 195.5 billion VND with 491 borrowers. This shows the interest of the  VBSP in allocating capital balance for Khanh Hoa province; also shows the efforts  of the provincial VBSP to promptly meet the capital needs of people when buying or renting purchase, building newly or repairing social houses. The leaders of Khanh Hoa province and the Bank for Social Policies highly appreciated the provincial VBSP in implementing the social housing loan program in the province.

In September 2020, at the meeting with Khanh Hoa province on the results of the implementation of the VBSP's development strategy for the period 2011-2020, Tran Lan Phuong - Deputy General Director of VBSP assessed that the provincial VBSP has done well in the information about policy credit programs. The province's credit growth rate is higher than the national average. Khanh Hoa has taken good advantage of the central capital source and mobilized capital from the local budget to lend to the poor and policy beneficiaries in the area; the social housing loan program has just been implemented but achieved good results; credit quality is relatively stable.
