Product marketing and market searching for small and medium-sized businesses have been difficulties for many years. Especially, in the context of deep international integration, finding output for products is more significant.

Product marketing and market searching for small and medium-sized businesses have been difficulties for many years. Especially, in the context of deep international integration, finding output for products is more significant.

In 2019, with total expenditure of over VND1 billion, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade will host supporting businesses in product marketing and market accessing through fairs as well as new market survey. From the first quarter to the third quarter, two market days of Vietnamese peoducts will take place in rural areas with the participation of 17 to 22 businesses. Also in this time, a safe food market with 80 booths of 50 businesses also will be held in Nha Trang.

To support small and medium-sized enterprises, the provincial Industry Encouragement and Trade Promotion Center will have 2 - 4 booths at fairs in the country. Products of the enterprises will be displayed there to help them to find opportunities in investment and cooperation to expand the market. Especially, the center will call enterprises to join booths at the 16th China-Asean EXPO in China and a Vietnamese fair in Cambodia.

Besides, to help enterprises to find new markets, in 2019, the provincial Department of Industry and Trade and businesses will survey markets in some provinces of Cambodia. This is a potential market for small and medium-sized enterprises.

According to Tran Son Hai, Vice-chairman of the provincial Standing People’s Committee, the trade promotion program in 2019 will help small and medium-sized enterprises in the province to have more opportunities to access markets. The program is one of practical activities to facilitate the development of enterprises.

Thanks to useful support policies from the trade promotion program, many enterprises have put up their products as well as market shares. Trade fairs, market days to bring Vietnamese products to rural areas, and the connection between supply and demand have helped producers improve the way to manufacture products and do marketing for them. A lot of enterprises have risen and built their prestige in the market.

According to Le Hoang Tho, deputy director of the provincial Department of Industry and Trade, industry encouragement and trade promotion activities attend to small and medium-sized enterprises in rural areas. In 2018, the department carried out a market survey in Laos, and then helped some enterprises to sign sale memorandum. In 2019, the department will survey markets of Cambodia and China to find best outputs for products of enterprises. With the trade promotion programs just adopted by the provincial People’s Committee, enterprises are expected to find more markets and forward their production and trade.”
